The Centre, built to the exacting standards of excellence required by the Millennium Commission, is attractively sited with open outlook across the recreation ground to adjacent woodlands.
The flexible design of the light and airy building encompasses a range of facilities including disabled and baby changing device, suitable for the discriminating user.
Parking is provided for fifty cars.
The Hall
The timber vaulted ceiling, large glazed areas and attractive brick finish combine to welcome the visitor to this outstandingly beautiful building.
The hall can comfortably accommodate up to 130 people sitting at tables or 260 for a stage performance. When combined with the adjoining Millard Hall the capacity increases to over 200 people.
There is direct access from the well equipped kitchen facilities.
The Millard Hall
The second hall is ideal for smaller events of a similar nature to those held in the main hall but with easy access to the terrace.
It will accommodate up to 50 people seated at tables or up to 60 if seated in rows.
Sports Facilities
There are extensive shower and changing facilities which may be used by anyone using the Centre or the adjacent Recreation Ground for sports activities.
