There are two allotment gardens, one located in Lindfield on a site between Grey Alders, William Allen Lane and the stream (Scrase Brook), with the entrance located through a gated path in Gravelye Lane, and the other located in Scaynes Hill, Clearwater Lane.
The allotments are open to all residents who wish to rent a plot to grow their own fruit, vegetables and flowers.
Unfortunately, only residents of LRPC are entitled to apply for plots, this is due to the high demand against low availability. Under previous council policy non-residents were allowed to apply, this changed in June 2021; non-residents are entitled to keep plots they were allocated under previous policy.
